OVERVIEW
When film distributor Black Bear UK partnered with The Vamp Agency to drum up pre-release hype for the star studded comedy Spa Weekend, they needed an activation that felt as unpredictable as the movie itself.
We were brought on to capture an exclusive creator retreat designed to mirror the film’s central premise: a peaceful getaway derailed by hilarious, unhinged energy.
Acting as both technical producers and creative directors, we actively prompted attendees to transition on camera from serene calmness to absolute chaos.
The resulting unreleased asset is a masterclass in experiential storytelling, blending pristine audio design with cinematic footage to perfectly encapsulate the film’s chaotic-comedy tone.

Experiential Directing: We didn’t just document the event; we directed the room. By prompting creators with specific thematic behavioral cues, we extracted raw, high-energy reactions that matched the movie’s exact script tone - EVERYBODY NEEDS A MEL.
